Environment-Friendly Soft Trawl System: Soft Trawl Gear
Soft Trawl Gear is an environment-friendly trawl system consisting of patented canvas parakites and combination ropes for hand ropes. The canvas parakites are towed 1-2m off the ground due to the weight of the hand ropes. It significantly alleviates damage to the seabed.
The hand ropes, in the meantime, touches the bottom and effectively induce fish into the net.
