| Pollock roe products are purchased mainly from Russia and the United States and are sold to mentaiko (spicy pollock roe) and pollock roe processors in the domestic market. Roe products require quick on-board processing, from extracting the roe and sorting by size and maturity to freezing. Therefore, Nichimo's highly experienced technical advisors visit processing sites to provide technical guidance and know-how. |
